With Windows 11, when the feature is enabled, you can copy anything from the history with the Ctrl + C keyboard shortcut. You can also paste it with the Ctrl + V keyboard shortcut. A context menu or the command bar are two of the essential functions of Windows, which we use daily. You can use these functions in File Explorer to use clipboard history.

When using Windows 11, you must right-click on a file, click on the copy icon, and then paste it elsewhere; again, right-click and click on the paste icon. When you copy a file on your PC, Windows will forget what you copied the last time. In contrast to Windows 10, Windows 11 takes copying and pasting to the next level. It comes with Clipboard History, which is disabled by default. In other words, you must first enable it on your computer to use it.

Once you enable the clipboard history function, Windows 11 will remember Images, text, scripts, links, documents, and videos under 4 MB. Even though the number of entries that will be stored by Windows 11 is only 25. After it crosses the limit of number 25, the very last copied item will be removed from the clipboard. That means the oldest items disappear from the clipboard history as new ones appear. Furthermore, unless an item is pinned to the Clipboard, the history list will reset whenever you restart your computer or laptop.
