RocketDock for Windows 10/11

RocketDock, which was created in 2005 by fans of Apple, is still accessible on Windows. This dock features a fully functional Recycle Bin in addition to access to numerous frequently used system folders. The following items are pinned to RocketDock once it has been installed on your computer: This PC, Network, Documents, Music, Pictures, Control Panel, and Recycle Bin.

By adding your own folder shortcuts or system files, you may personalize the docks. You can alter the icon that appears by default, and it includes 30 different themes so you can change how your dock looks.

You just have to drag the application shortcut to the dock to add a new application to the dock in RocketDock. The same is true if you want to delete or remove any application or folder from the dock: simply drag the icon of the desired application outside of the dock. To prevent unintentional deletion, there is an option to lock all docked items.

It’s easy to customize RocketDock. By selecting the Dock Settings option from the context menu when you right-click on a blank area in the dock. Alternatively, by clicking on the Dock Settings icon from the dock, you may access its settings.

You can click on the Run at startup in the General tab’s settings if you want dock to run automatically when Windows starts. If you want to prevent unintentionally deleting any dock items, you may also choose to “Lock Items” on the dock.

In RocketDock, you may select between low, average, and high icon quality settings. Along with it there are options to modify the opacity, hover effect, and icon size.

RocketDock’s positioning function is its best feature. On a Windows computer, you may practically choose any location on the screen for your dock. To arrange the dock horizontally or vertically, select one of the options on the left, right, top, or bottom. You can arrange the Edge Offset and Centering position once you’ve set the Dock’s position.

Although practically all regions of the Desktop allow you to set the dock’s position, you should be more selective when making this decision. For instance, if your dock and Taskbar are both located at the bottom of your screen, trying to click on the dock may inadvertently activate apps from your Taskbar. You can always choose to move this dock to an other location, auto-hide the Taskbar, or auto-hide RocketDock.
