What is Delivery optimization & how does it work?
In Microsoft, Delivery Optimization is a peer-to-peer feature that downloads updates (or parts of updates) from other PCs. Additionally, it will upload updates (or parts of updates) you already have installed on your PC so that it’s available for different PCs.
Delivery Optimization aims to improve the process of getting Windows Updates and Microsoft Store apps. The claim is that it gets your apps and updates more quickly and easily. Delivery Optimization works either with devices on your local network or on your local network and the internet.
Windows Update Delivery Optimization lets you get Windows updates and Microsoft Store apps from sources in addition to Microsoft, like other PCs on your local network or on the internet that are downloading the duplicate files.

How to Enable or Disable Windows Update Delivery Optimization on Windows 11 using Settings?
As mentioned above, when “Windows Update Delivery Optimization” is enabled, your PC may download Windows Updates from other sources besides Microsoft. If you don’t want your PC to send or receive updates to/from other PCs on your local network or internet, you need to turn off Windows Update Delivery Optimization. For that, follow these steps:-

To enable or disable Windows Update Delivery Optimization on Windows 11 through Registry Editor, use these steps:-
