How to Switch Between Command Prompt and PowerShell on WIN+X Menu on Windows 10?

If you simultaneously press the Win + Xkeys on your computer, a menu shows up on your screen. With its help, you get tools that can be used to access and alter various settings on your computer. How to Replace Command Prompt with PowerShell in the Win+X menu?

Use the following steps to see PowerShell in the WinX menu:-

Step 1: Open the Settings app on your computer.

Alternatively, press the Windows logo + Ikeys simultaneously on your computer to do so.

Step 2: Go to the Personalization category in the Settings app.

Step 3: Click on the Taskbar option.

Step 4: Next, on the right side pane of the Taskbar, Turn the toggle On next to “Replace Command Prompt with Windows PowerShell in the menu when I right-click the start button or press Windows key + X.”

Right-click on the start button to access the Power User Menu. You can also do so by pressing the Windows key + X simultaneously on the keyboard. Once you do so, you will find the Windows PowerShell and Windows PowerShell (Admin) appear in the Win+X menu instead of the Command Prompt and Command Prompt (Admin).

Use the following steps to see the Command Prompt in the WinX menu instead of Windows PowerShell:-

Step 1: Open the Taskbar Settings by right-clicking on the Taskbar.

Step 2: Click on the Taskbar tab in the Personalizationcategory.

Step 3: Turn Off the toggle switch next to “Replace Command Prompt with Windows PowerShell in the menu when I right-click the start button or press Windows key + X” on the right side pane of the taskbar.

Now, right-click on the start button or simultaneously press the shortcut keys Windows key + Xto access the Power User Menu. Once you do it, you will find the Command Prompt and Command Prompt (Admin) in the Win+X menu instead of PowerShell and PowerShell (Admin).
