How to Make Windows 11 PCs Never Go to Sleep?

You can quickly stop your PC from going into sleep mode by using Windows 11 Settings app. Perform the following steps:-

Step 1. Firstly, launch the Settings app by pressing Windows + I on your keyboard. Alternatively, right-click on the Start button on the taskbar, and from the list-menu that appears, choose Settings.


Step 2. When Windows Settings opens, select the System category in the left sidebar.

Step 3. Then, from the right sidebar, choose the Power & battery.


Step 4. After that, under the Power section, click on the Screen and sleep header to expand it.


Step 5. Next, you will have two settings that are related to sleep. If a battery powers your device, you will see two options. Otherwise, you will find a single vote for sleep mode. Select Never from the drop-down menu of the following options:-

  • On battery power, put my device to sleep after,
  • When plugged in, I put my machine to sleep after.

Finally, close Settings and your PC will stay up all night and all day. You can still put your machine to sleep manually using the power icon in the Start menu (choose “Sleep”) or by using a dedicated sleep key on your device if you have one.
