How to Stop Opera from Asking for Permissions from New Sites?

Similar to Mozilla Firefox, Opera allows you to block asking permission to enter new sites. You can permanently deny access to your location, camera, etc., from the site asks you. You can always block Opera from requesting permission from new sites. Once you customize this setting in Opera, you never see that pop-up every time you visit a site.

Step 1. Open the Opera browser on your PC.

Step 2. Tap on the Settings icon in the left sidebar.

Step 3. Tap on the Settings icon in the left sidebar.

Step 4. Press on Privacy & security.

Step 5. Tap on the Site Settings tile on the right sidebar.

Step 6. In the Site Settings window. scroll down to the Permissions section to find settings such as Location, Camera, Microphone, Notifications, etc.

Step 7. Then, tap on the Camera option to stop Opera from asking for permissions for the Camera.

Quick Note: Similarly, you can stop Opera from asking for permissions for other items.

Step 8. Pick the “Don’t allow sites to use your camera” option.

Step 9. Close the Opera browser and reopen it.

Using the above steps, you will prevent Opera from asking for permissions from new sites.
