Only text and images are printed when you print a Microsoft office word document. Suppose you want to print a word document with its background color. You will do this after some steps.

What is the procedure for setting the background color in a Microsoft Word document?

If you have not already set the desired color as the background of the MS Office Word Document, do the following steps:-

Step 1. Open the MS Word document and click on the Design menu.

Step 2. Under the Design menu, click on the Page Coloroption and select your desired color as a background.

Step 3. Now, you will have an MS Word document with a colored background.

As said above, by default MS Word does not allow printing with a colored background. If you try to print this document by navigating to File > Print or just by pressing Ctrl + Pkeys, you will see a print preview with white background and text on it.

To print with colored background, you need to make some changes in your MS Word.

Step 3. Select More from available options.

Step 8. Finally, click the OK button to apply the changes.

Step 9. Now, click the Filemenu and then click Print or press Ctrl + P keys from the keyboard to quickly open the print preview.
