How to Remove Tips and Messages on Lock Screen on Windows 11?

In Windows 11/10, you may see ads, fun facts, and tips on the lock screen before you sign in. It is a new feature introduced by Microsoft. The Windows 11 user interface differs fundamentally from the Windows 10 operating system. Windows 11 now also displays advertisements and so-called “hints, tips, tricks, and tips” directly in the user interface. Even though, that doesn’t mean you have to get used to being an advertising target.

Here, Microsoft at least allows us to disable Windows 11 ads, though it certainly doesn’t make it easy. There is no single switch to turn off and remove ads. If you’re tired of seeing tips, tricks, and messages on the Windows 11 lock screen, this risewindows article will guide you on how to do that.

How to Disable Tips and Messages on Lock Screen on Windows 11?

To disable or remove tips and other messages on the Lock Screen, use the following steps:-

Step 1. First, open the Settings app by pressing Windows + I keys on the keyboard.

Step 2. When Windows Settings opens, select Personalization in the left sidebar.

Step 3. Then click the Lock Screen on the right sidebar.

Step 4. After that, in Lock Screen settings, from the drop-down menu beside “Personalize your lock screen,” select either “Picture” or “Slideshow.” Unluckily, it is impossible to disable tips and tricks using “Windows Spotlight,” which automatically pulls lock screen images from the internet.

Step 5. Once you select “Picture” or “Slideshow,” you will see a new checkbox “Get fun facts, tips, tricks, and more on your lock screen.” Then, uncheck this option and then close the Settings app.

After completing the steps above, you will no longer see fun facts, tips, tricks, and other messages on your lock screen.

That’s it for the article.
