The Amazon Fire TV Stick is a popular streaming device that converts your non-smart TV into a smart TV. Connect the FireStick dongle to an HDMI port, and it will transform your ordinary TV into a smart one. The Fire Stick is powered by the Fire operating system based on Android. As a result, all of the applications that you can run on your Android phone will also work on your Amazon Fire TV Stick.
When using the Amazon Fire TV Stick, you can choose from various streaming apps such as Amazon Prime, Netflix, and YouTube to play movies, videos, and songs directly on your TV. Aside from that, you can use the Alexa voice remote to change or play music and movies with your voice commands.
Amazon Fire TV Stick is not limited to these. You can even look into additional features. You can easily mirror your Android screen and display the small mobile screen on your large TV. Because FireStick is based on Android, mirroring your iPhone screen to your Fire TV Stick is more complicated. To mirror your iPhone screen, download and install the free AirScreen app from the Amazon Appstore. Once the AirScreen app is installed on your FireStick, you can use the AirPlay feature on your iPhone to send screen content to your Fire TV.
