Step 1. Go through the standard installation process of Windows 11, and at one point, you will be asked for an internet connection if you are not connected already.

Step 3. When you see Command Prompt on your screen, type taskmgr and press the Enter key from your keyboard to open the Task Manager.


Step 4. After that, click on the More details at the bottom of the Task Manager opens with fewer details.

Step 5. Then, switch to the Processes tab and click on the Network Connection Flow process.

Step 6. Click on the End Task button.


Quick Note: You can also kill the “Network Connection flow” process through the Command Prompt also using the below-mentioned texts and hitting Enter from the keyboard:

taskkill /F /IM oobenetworkconnectionflow.exe

Step 7. When you are done, close the Command Prompt and Task Manager windows.

Step 8. Then, you will be asked to “Enter your name.”


Step 9. Enter the user name and continue with the rest of the steps to install the Windows 11 Home edition operating system.

You need to enter your name, password, security questions, etc., to create a Local Account to install Windows 11 Home.
