How to Flag Repeated Words on Microsoft PowerPoint?

You may already be friendly with the Microsoft PowerPoint feature that automatically flags repeated words with a red underline. Though, if you like to write the same word twice in a row for some reason, this risewindows article will guide you. This post is equally helpful for turning on the settings in PowerPoint if the red underline for repeated words is turned off.

How to Enable or Disable Flag Repeated Words on PowerPoint?

If you are using Microsoft PowerPoint on Windows 11/10 or any other operating system and you want to turn on or off the flag repeated words feature on PowerPoint, do these steps:-

Step 1. Open Microsoft PowerPoint.

Step 2. Hit on the File menu.

Step 3. Choose Options.

Step 4. Switch to the Proofing tab on the PowerPoint Options panel.

Step 5. Under the “When correcting spelling in Microsoft Office programs” section, check the option Flag repeated words to turn on this feature.

Step 6. At last, click the OK button.

Once you have completed the above steps while typing on Microsoft PowerPoint, if you repeat the words, then you will see a red underline on the repeated phrase(s).

If you stop flagging repeated words in PowerPoint, you need to uncheck the option Flag repeated words in step 5.
