But many Microsoft users have reported that while their system is in sleep mode, it automatically wakes up, which the users do not like. To turn on or off Wake Timers in Windows 11/10, do the steps:-

Step 1. Firstly, open Control Panel.

Step 2. Now, type power in the search box on the top right corner.

Step 3. Click on the Edit power plan in the available results.

Step 4. Then, click on the link Change advanced power settings.

Step 5. After that, you will be welcomed with a new pop-up window, “Power Options.” Expand the Sleep. option by clicking on it.

Step 6. Expand the Allow wake timers option.

Step 7. Then, select the Enable option from the “Plugged in” option drop-down list to enable wake timers.

Step 8. Next, if your system is battery enabled, then select the Enableoption from the “On battery” option drop-down list to allow wake timers.

Step 9. Once you’re done, click on the Apply and then OK button.

After completing the above steps, close the control panel window.
