How to Enable Night Light for Warmer Colors on Windows 11?

You will be aware of the night light feature of the windows. This feature is also available in Windows 11. If you spend more time on a PC/Laptop, then Blue light from VDUs affect your eyes.

Night light features reduce the blue light and protect your eyes. You can set night light time according to your choice.

How to Enable Night Light on Windows 11?

To turn on or enable the Night light feature in Windows 11, do the following steps:-

Step 1. Firstly, Open the Settings app by pressing Windows + I keys simultaneously

Step 2. Then, select the System category from the left side pane.

Step 3. Next, click on the Display tab on the System’s right side.

Step 4.  After that, turn on the toggle switch next to the “Night light” option.

You can always change the night light warmth If the amount of warmth on your screen does not fit your requirement.

Step 5. On the same window, click anywhere on the Night light option. Navigate to the Strength section on the Night light page, which has a slider on the line ranging from 1 to 100, left to right, respectively. The closer you move this toggle to 100, the warmer the night light gets.

How to Schedule Night Light on Windows 11?

In windows 11, you can set night light time according to your preference if you are not happy with the automatic setting of windows. If you work in a dark place,, you can also turn on the night light during the day.

To schedule Night light on Windows 11 PC, do the following steps:-

Step 1. Firstly, Open the Settings app by pressing Windows + I keys simultaneously

Step 2.  Then, select the System category from the left side pane.

Step 3. Now, select the Display tab on the System’s right side.

Step 4.  After that, turn on the toggle switch next to the “Night light” option.

Step 5. Once the Night light function is turned on your PC, click anywhere on the Night light option to open its further settings. Now, turn on the toggle switch next to the “Schedule night light” option. Now,  two options will be available:-

  • Sunset to sunrise: Windows will automatically determine sunset and sunrise and automatically schedule night light hours for you.
  • Set hours: If you are not happy with Windows automatic schedule time, you can opt “Set hours” option and customize when to activate Night hours.
