As we know the Ctrl + Scroll function of Windows operating systems allows us to zoom in or out in web browsers and other apps such as Microsoft Word documents. When we press the Ctrl key on our keyboard and navigate the mouse wheel, the page zooms in and out accordingly. Although this function helps us check and see the page in various resolutions, sometimes it might not be delightful. For example, if we are reading an article and the Ctrl key is not functioning correctly, we might not be able to scroll down using our mouse. Instead of scrolling up or down, we may be zooming in and out. We might want to disable the Ctrl+Scroll zoom feature in such a situation.

“No Mouse Wheel Zoom” for Windows 11 and 10

The “No Mouse Wheel Zoom” is an application that disables the Ctrl+Scroll Zoom function in all the programs, including Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Opera, Microsoft Word, etc. It is a free and portable app that quickly disables zoom-in and zoom-out in all versions of Windows, including Windows 11 and 10. We can use this app when we want to turn off the accidental zoom-in or zoom-out in Chrome, Firefox, Edge, or any other application.

The “No Mouse Wheel Zoom” includes these three more features:-

Block in all windows: By default, this app blocks the zoom in or out function in browsers only. However, if we turn on this option, we can use the same feature in all other apps, such as Microsoft Word Photos.
Pause MWNoZoom: If we want to temporarily pause the app, close it from the system tray or want to use the Pause MWNoZoom option.
Autostart on Windows startup: This option is helpful if we want to start this app automatically when we start our system.
