In windows 11, you can see that the lock screen shows time and date or other things. The lock screen show time and date according to your PC/Laptop time zone.

How to Change Lock Screen Clock Format from Settings App?

To change the Lock Screen Clock format using the Settings app, do the following steps:-

Step 1. Firstly, open the Settings app (keyboard shortcut Windows + I).

Step 2. Next, When the Settings window appears on your computer, select the Time & language category on the left side.

Step 3. Then, click on Language & region to access settings related to time formats.

Step 4. Now, click the Regional format option under the Region section to expand it.

Step 5. After that, click on the Change formats button to change the time format.

Step 6. Then, click on the dropdown list Long time and pick the option with AM to use the 12-hour format or choose one without AM to go with the 24-hour lock screen format.

Step 7. At last, Restart your PC.

The clock will appear on the lock screen depending on your chosen clock format, 24-hour or 12-hour clock format.

To change the Lock Screen clock format through Control Panel, do the following steps:-

Step 1. Firstly, Open Control Panel.

Step 2. Next, under “Clock and Region,” click on Change date, time, or number formats to change the lock screen date format.

Step 3. Then, switch to Formats tab. Then, click on the dropdown menu  Long time and select H:mm:ss or HH:mm:ss to apply a 24-hour clock. On the other hand, you can use h:mm:ss tt or hh:mm:ss tt for 12-hour clock.

Step 5. Then, Click OK.

Step 6. At last, Restart your computer.
