takeown /f C:\Windows\ServiceProfiles\LocalService\AppData\Local\Microsoft\NGC /r /d y

Step 3: To grant ownership, type the following and press Enter:-

icacls C:\Windows\ServiceProfiles\LocalService\AppData\Local\Microsoft\NGC /grant administrators:F /t

Step 4: Next, go to File Explorer on your computer.

Step 5: Once you do that, browse the following path:-

C:\Windows\ServiceProfiles\LocalService\AppData\Local\Microsoft\NGC

Step 6: Select everything in this folder and delete it.

The above steps will help delete the Windows Hello PIN for every user account.

Reboot and sign in to your computer. Set a new one according to the requirements and use it to log in to your system.

How to Resolve Windows Hello PIN Error on Windows 11/10 using Registry Editor?

Step 1: Open Registry Editor.

Step 2: On the left side of the Registry Editor, navigate to the following:-

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\PolicyManager\default\Settings\AllowSignInOptions

Step 3: Set the “Value data” of the value REG_DWORD to 1in the right sidebar.

Step 4: Click on OK.

Step 5: Reboot your computer to apply the changes.
